I pitched a shirt to Stan once. Even made prototypes.
There are a couple left. I’ll put the proceeds towards the SuperLiterate Project. http://superliterateproject.org
Stan Lee is My Homeboy- the forbidden homage
Adrienne Curry LOVED them, everyone on his staff (at the time) dug them too, even STAN thought it was cool. But the corporate giants involved didn’t want to deal with a little guy like me. Stan didn’t even get a say. It was at the first Comikaze in LA. They had an after party with Peter Murphy as the headliner.
SO rad, only a hundred or so attending in a small venue. Stan joined Peter, and Peter bowed in his presence. I still think this shirt is a cool homage. I wear mine.
For the 8th year or so, maybe 9 who knows or cares, we from Danger Factory, Popular Naughty and friends will be displaying our wares and personalities at booth 1617 within the mind-boggling Comic Con International! Besides the clothing line thing (all designed by raconteur, Lothario and artist-type, Rex Edhlund), we will have a selection of super rare TIKI MUGS from Boo Tiki, and the most recent releases from legendary alt art and underground publisher LAST GASP! Please come by. Please enjoy.
Here we have the only known color footage of “My Fair Munster”, 5 minutes of the original 15-minute unaired pilot that featured Joan Marshall as Phoebe Munster, Happy Derman as a much hammier and blatant Eddie Munster, and Beverley Owen as Marilyn Munster. After getting greenlit, the show, now B&W, was quickly recast with the super-exotic Yvonne De Carlo as Lily, Butch Patrick as Edward “Eddie” Wolfgang Munster, and Pat Priest as Marilyn.
SO, who do you think disturbed us bad kids more and shaped our dark, sensual tastes to adore all the hot goth
chicks incredible women today.
Or Lily Munster?
Or, I mean, maybe Herman was your thing?
I always thought Velma was the hot one. The daft Daphne cheerleader character has never been my type. No sir, give me nerdy science facts, a bunch of logic, and a short skirt. THAT will get me in a mystery solving mood.
First mystery: How do I get Velma alone.
See much more at GeekXgirls, cool, very pro, and very uhh…. “appealing?” Cosplay.
Just sayin’. Yeah it is super important that she is also a geek, that’s what gets her to THIS site, but the facts are she is pretty much a perfect creature. These pics are an example.. no make up, no prep time, now warning. Just, “Hey Justine! We have two minutes, can you throw these on so I can maybe get a pic for a postcard?” Snap, snap, click, click, oy and here they are- a super pretty girl with every nerd’s dream qualities. She even does improv now with Comic Book Live! The very same troupe that OG Geek Chris Gore is in.
You will see lots more of her, hang tight. And SOMEBODY needs to book her for a Cosplay shoot. Maybe we should do a Kickstarter campaign for that. We need that.Oh, and the shirt she is wearing is the Vintage Destroyer. from Popular Naughty.
